Bill always understood the need for other perspectives

Created by Richard one year ago

Many got to know Bill at the Cambridge International Symposium on Economic Crime. His contributions were always insightful. Even before SOAS taught me to consider the perspective of the Global South, Bill laid the groundwork. In an incisive presentation, he made the point that the perspectives and priorities of the developed world are not always the same as those of developed countries. And that global progress will only be made when that is understood. It is fitting that the title picture for the tribute page is Bill in Mexico; he didn't just visit Mexico, Cambodia and Ethiopia, he understood them, their needs, their concerns.

RIP, Bill!
