You were one very special person, Bill. We Canadians loved you from the moment we met at the Cambridge Symposium. I vividly recall you greeting everyone in every imaginable language during the opening ceremonies. Although we only saw each other for one week a year, after 25 of those weeks, I suppose we spent half a year together. Your intellect, your pleasing personality, your love of life, and your love of family were so evident each and every day. I am a better person for having known you, Bill. Rest easy... pete
